The trainer renewal enrollment period opens on January 7, 2019.
To be eligible for trainer renewal for the 2019 calendar year, trainers must have delivered a minimum of four Registry-approved training sessions and present evidence of having completed 15 hours of required continuing education training and/or college coursework relevant to his/her field of practice/certification, including a minimum of three hours in adult learning principles during the 2018 calendar year.
How do I renew my trainer approval status?
Trainer Renewal Applications will be available within the User Portal accounts of eligible* trainers on January 7th. Those who are eligible to renew will see a red tab labeled "Trainer Renewal Application" just below the 'Profile' section of their User Portal. Click on the red tab to begin the renewal application process.
*Trainers who have not fully met both requirements by December 31, 2018 will not be eligible to renew their trainer approval status until January 2020. Exceptions will not be made.
