Tip of the Week: Out of State Training
Posted Monday, October 5, 2015 by Shelly Nye
Did you know that there is a process in place for obtaining Registry approval for conferences and/or trainings that are being offered out of state? Contact the Registry to request the form you need to complete and submit at least 2 weeks PRIOR to attending the conference/training. You must be an ACTIVE member of the Registry and supply us with your registration and anything that clearly describes the content of the training (ie. program, flyer, outline, etc.). The content must clearly demonstrate its applicability to child development and the direct care of children 0-8 years of age. Once you attend, you must submit verification of attendance in order to receive an approval letter from the Registry that can be shown to your licensing surveyor.
