Tip of the Week (Trainers): Partial Credit for Training
Posted Wednesday, March 28, 2018 by Shelly Nye
As a reminder, no partial credit can be granted for Registry-approved training. As an example, if a training is approved for two hours, the expectation is that it is HELD for the entire two hours and that attendees STAY for the entire two hours. If an attendee misses a portion of the training (equal to or greater than 15 minutes), he/she should not be issued a certificate. It’s always a good idea to let your attendees know the expectations for participation right at the beginning of your training (you can also include it in your registration materials). This reduces the potential for conflict and helps attendees make informed decisions about the professional development they select.
