Training Summary: This is a self study training module containing a video tape and guide that caregivers can use on their own. The module includes basic training on how to recognize and report suspected abuse and neglect. ECE professionals are mandated reporters of suspected abuse and neglect. The module includes information on the types of abuse, signs and symptoms of abuse, how to respond to a child who discloses abuse or neglect, and specific information about how, when and where to make a report.
