Upcoming Meeting of the Child Care Advisory Council

The Child Care Advisory Council (CCAC) will hold its next meeting at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Discussion items include implementation of new laws and regulations affecting the child care industry; CCAC bylaws and membership; and a review of the complaint process.

The Child Care Advisory Committee (CCAC) provides a way for state regulators to hear from providers on a range of matters that affect Nevada’s child care industry. The CCAC makes recommendations to the Division of Public and Behavioral Health on issues such as educational strategies, revision of regulations, complaint processes, and methods or structures for fines and fees. The CCAC meets quarterly via video conference, with locations in Carson City and Las Vegas, as well as a call-in phone number.
