Did You Know? Incomplete Membership Applications

Submitting a complete Membership Application is the quickest way to activate your membership with The Nevada Registry and ensure your compliance with Child Care Licensing (if applicable). However, a specific process is in place to assist when an incomplete application is received.

  1. When an application is incomplete upon submission, an email is sent to the individual with specific details about the documentation that is missing. This email also includes the date by which the missing information must be submitted. The number of days you have to complete your application can range from 15 days to 120 days depending on your hire date and whether you have already been employed for more than 120 days at the time you apply for Registry membership. Please refer to this email - it tells you exactly what we need and the date by which it is needed.
  2. Submit missing documentation via the mail or email at Submitting via email helps to expedite the process. Regardless of how you submit your paperwork, it is always best to submit all missing documentation together at one time. However, if only partial information is received, another email will be sent notifying you of what is still needed to complete your application. Remember you are NOT considered an active member of The Nevada Registry until you have submitted a complete application/renewal and received the confirmation email.
  3. The Nevada Registry will keep your incomplete paper application until the date specified in the email you initially received. If missing documentation is not received by this date, your application will be securely recycled and you will be required to re-initiate the application process. You will receive one final notice the day before your application will be recycled. Please note that under no circumstances is an incomplete application recycled on the same day it is received. Each applicant is granted a minimum of 15 days to complete the process up to 120 days as stated above.

It is our goal for you to be successful in completing the application process. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about the process and/or an email notification you have received regarding an incomplete application.
