Tip of the Day (Trainers): 2 Week Submission Requirement
Posted Friday, August 21, 2015 by Shelly Nye
The #1 reason that trainings are denied is because they are submitted less than 2 weeks prior to the date of the training. Don’t let this happen! Make sure to submit your requests for training approval at least 2 weeks in advance of the planned training date. And remember; the Registry is not open on weekends or holidays so any requests received after 4:30 pm on Fridays, on Saturdays, Sundays and/or holidays will not be reviewed until the next regular business day. This means that the training date must be at least 2 weeks from the next regular business day (not the date submitted if sent in when the office was closed) in order to be considered for approval. The 2 week timeframe is necessary for us to ensure that all approval requirements are in place and also allows you time to adequately prepare for your upcoming training. A better prepared trainer makes for a better learning experience for the participant!
