Planning to Drop Off an Application? Here’s What You Need to Know

Initial Membership Applications and Update/Renewal forms that are delivered in-person to The Nevada Registry office in Reno, will only be accepted if the application is complete and contains all the required documentation.
When you arrive, you will be asked to wait while a Registry staff person reviews your paperwork for completeness. The time it takes to review applications will increase when dropping off multiple applications at one time, so please be patient. If an application/renewal is complete, it will be accepted and entered into the processing queue. However, if it is not complete, it will be returned to you (or the person dropping off paperwork on behalf of someone else) before you leave our office with instructions about what is missing. Your application may be resubmitted once all of the missing documentation has been gathered.
Plan ahead and make your investment of time count – be sure that your application/renewal is complete before making the trip. A checklist is included at the back of both the initial and renewal applications to take the guesswork out of the process. You are also welcome to contact our office with any questions about what is needed to complete your application successfully.
