A few weeks ago as part of our 15th anniversary we recognized over 70 Registry VIPs who have maintained an active membership of The Nevada Registry since the beginning! Today, and in the coming months, we will recognize several of the individuals who have taken time to share their thoughts with us about how they feel The Nevada Registry has positively influenced Early Childhood in Nevada and what their membership personally means to them. Cris Yepez, Director of La Petite Academy on Warms Spring Road in Las Vegas had this to say about The Nevada Registry:
"This is so exciting! I cannot believe it has been 15 years, the time has flown by. I am so proud to be a part of the Registry’s 15-year journey. The Registry has definitely positively changed the way we continue our education in the ECE field in the state of Nevada. Mandating that only approved registry training qualifies for annual license compliance has held the ECE community and its trainers to a higher standard. Members of the ECE community can always count on the Registry to keep track of the training they receive year after year. So huge thanks to you. And it definitely says something to renew each year, being able to reflect back on the training you received, and get your certificate in the mail. I can’t wait to hang it up and display it proudly. The Registry is always evolving, introducing new and exciting elements to its efforts. Being a driving force within our ECE community, you have changed the way we look at continuing education. With the introduction of the new training criteria, The Adult Learning Academy, the demand for professional, high quality training, and the collaborative efforts of the TAS Workgroup, I can’t wait to see what the next 15 years will bring. Thank you for all that you do and have done for the past 15 years."
Thank you Cris for your continued membership and for sharing your thoughts with us. We look forward to supporting your professional growth for many years to come!
