Important Change to Online Course Availability

As of January 5, 2018, the only online training you will find on The Nevada Registry's Training Calendar are courses being offered by organizations that are IACET or CHEA accredited. This means that some of the online training you have taken in the past is no longer approved by the Registry and no longer included on the Training Calendar.

It is now more important than ever before to select online training through the Registry’s Training Calendar ONLY. A new search feature has been added to help you easily determine the online training organizations that are approved to offer Registry-approved online training.

Directions: Go to the Training Calendar page of the Registry website. Using the same ‘Online and Distance Learning Organizations’ dropdown list you are familiar with, click on the arrow to view a list by organization name. Choose the organization you desire to take training from. If you do not find the training organization that you are looking for (or that you used to see when searching the calendar), it is because the organization does not meet the new criteria. Do not take training from this organization if you need Registry-approved hours! Only the organizations included on our list are approved to issue Registry-approved child care training hours.

* Training certificates issued by online service providers prior to January 1, 2018 containing a Registry approval code remain valid and will be accepted by The Nevada Registry and Child Care Licensing, even if the organization’s online training is no longer approved/included in the Training Calendar.
