Participation in The Nevada Registry became a requirement for all educators working in licensed child care settings in April 2009, as established by State Child Care Licensing regulations. The requirement was fully phased in by December 31, 2012.

Mandatory participation provides, for the first time in Nevada’s history, a representative picture of the state’s Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) workforce. This page presents a cumulative overview of The Nevada Registry’s growth and impact since the program’s inception in January 2004 and is updated quarterly.

Additional historical data is available on the Reports and Statistics page. Visit the Data Dashboard for real-time workforce, professional development and training approval system data.
