The Regional Professional Development Program is excited to announce an opportunity for elementary teachers to earn their Early Childhood Endorsement. This specific option is for teachers with a K-8 elementary license and who have at least one year’s experience teaching students ages 6 or under. There are four required courses that will be offered throughout the 2023-24 school year. All courses have been approved by the Nevada Department of Education. This cohort will fill up fast, and priority will be given to teachers who are teaching PreK on an emergency basis.

Interested teachers must attend one informational session before they receive an application to the program. Please read this flyer for more information.  The Regional Professional Development team will be available to answer any questions during the informational sessions.

Don’t delay! This is a great opportunity for Registry members with Non-ECE degrees to obtain an endorsement that will allow for placement on the Career Ladder at the level commensurate with their degree.
