Nevada received a one-year planning grant through the TEACH Early Childhood® National Center to address early childhood educator education, compensation, and/or recruitment and retention. Three subcommittees have been convened to develop strategies and action steps related to these areas.
The subcommittee examining compensation and wage strategies would like to hear from you about the benefits you currently receive and the types of benefits that would be the most meaningful and impactful to you if you were to receive them in the future, either through your employer or from an external funding source. Your feedback will be used as the basis for the strategies and recommendations that emerge from this work.
To solicit your feedback, a series of focus groups will be convened. Each focus group will be held virtually via Zoom to allow as many stakeholders to participate in this important conversation.
Focus groups will tentatively be held between May 17, 2021 – May 28. 2021. A link to a feedback form will be available for those who are unable to participate in the scheduled focus group discussions.
