The federally funded Futuro Project will hold a community event on April 8th at Sunset Park in Las Vegas. The Futuro Project will provide Pre-K and kindergarten teachers’ professional development to improve early literacy practice in the classroom. It also supports home literacy with multilingual, multicultural, and disability awareness books. Approximately 1,200 books will be provided to children in the community event, and each book will include a home literacy activity card for parents and caregivers.
