This course is intended to provide information about reducing the impact to children, families, and the facility in the event of a crisis or traumatic event (emergency or disaster) inside or immediately surrounding the facility, as well as strategies to help children and families recover and cope after an emergency, disaster or traumatic event. This course is approved by The Nevada Registry for three child care training hours but does not meet the requirements for Emergency Preparedness and Response Planning Resulting from a Natural or Man-Made Event.
