As of January 1, 2020, individuals applying for trainer approval for the first time are required to complete a 2-hour online course offered by ChildCare Education Institute titled, PROF105: Adult Learning: Theories and Strategies for Trainers, Coaches and Directors (this course replaces the previously required PROF101 course). For those with CCEI subscriptions, the course can be completed at no additional charge as part of your existing subscription. For those without a subscription, the cost to complete the course is $30. It is recommended that you purchase the course only if you are certain you will qualify as a trainer.
