Fight Crime: Invest in Kids is an anti-crime organization of nearly 5,000 police chiefs, sheriffs, prosecutors, and violence survivors who take a hard look at the research about what prevents kids from becoming criminals and put that information in the hands of policymakers and the general public.
Read Nevada's report; “I’M THE GUY YOU PAY LATER: Sheriffs, Chiefs and Prosecutors Urge America to Cut Crime by Investing Now in High-Quality Early Education and Care”. Published in 2013, it’s a very interesting read highlighting the importance of high quality early care and education as a deterrent to crime and incarceration later in life.
