Tip of the Week: ECE College Courses
Posted Monday, May 30, 2016 by Shelly Nye
Did you know that ECE courses completed at the college-level can be applied toward your annual training requirements for Licensing? One college credit is equal to 15 clock hours of training so by completing a single 3-credit course in ECE, you can meet and exceed your requirements for the year. Be aware that courses must be related to ECE in order to count towards your training requirements. Please check with your Licensing surveyor prior to enrolling in a course if you are unsure whether the course will count or not. Verification that you passed the course must also be kept in your employee file (i.e. transcripts showing course with an assigned grade of C or better).
