Avoid Paying a Late Fee!

Your membership with The Nevada Registry should be renewed each year prior to the date that your Certificate of Achievement expires. A reminder email*, along with the Update/Renewal Form, will be sent to you approximately 4-6 weeks prior to your certificate expiration date.
There is no fee to renew on time. However, a $25 late fee will be imposed if your renewal form is submitted 30 or more days after your certificate has expired. Remember, the fee is COMPLETELY AVOIDABLE. Here’s why:
- You will receive an email from The Nevada Registry 4-6 weeks PRIOR to your certificate expiration date reminding you to renew.
- You will receive a 2nd email reminder 2 weeks PRIOR to your certificate expiration date, again reminding you to renew.
- You will receive a 3rd email on the day that your certificate expires notifying you that your account is now inactive.
- You then have an additional 30 days to submit your completed renewal form without incurring a cost.
This two month window is designed to help you avoid being subject to the late fee. All you have to do is submit your renewal form at any point within this time period! Even if you aren’t currently working in ECE, we recommend that you continue to renew annually (and on time, for free) to avoid the possibility of having to pay a late fee at some point down the road should you choose to reenter the workforce after your certificate has expired.
