Tip of the Week: Training Sign-In Sheets
Posted Monday, February 29, 2016 by Shelly Nye
When attending training, please make sure to sign yourself in on the attendance sheet. Never allow anyone else to sign your name for you. Sign-in sheets are used to verify attendance and allow trainers to reproduce Certificates of Completion if needed. Child Care Licensing staff also occasionally use sign-in sheets to verify whether an individual was present at a particular training if there are any questions regarding a certificate they are reviewing. Keep in mind that certificates are only issued to those listed on the attendance sheet so if you have not signed-in, arrive late or leave early, you will not receive a Certificate of Completion.
