The Nevada Registry Job Board Is Getting an Upgrade!

Our enhanced Job Board launches September 14, 2026, with exciting new features designed to make it easier for employers and job seekers to connect! As employers transition to the new platform and resubmit their available positions, you may notice fewer job postings than usual for a short period of time. New positions will be added as employers complete the transition. Be sure to check back often as new ECEC opportunities are added! Thank you for your patience as we make the Job Board an even better resource for Nevada’s ECEC community.

The scope and severity levels, along with associated monetary penalties, are part of proposed regulations that were generated to bring the Division of Public and Behavioral Health’s Child Care Licensing Unit into compliance with legislation passed in 2017.

The proposed regulations include:

  • A complete framework for applying sanctions;
  • Ratios, trainings, and mandated reporting;
  • Director qualifications and designated operator qualifications to help build transparency; and
  • Clarity of standards to help ensure provider compliance.

Documents related to the proposed regulations can be found here. The regulations were approved by the Nevada Board of Health on June 5, 2020. The final review will be at an upcoming Legislative Commission hearing (date to be announced).
