The Nevada Registry is excited to bring another amazing membership benefit to you – course completion verification for online courses.
Because we have initiated data-sharing partnerships with approved online training organizations*, Nevada Registry-approved online courses completed through these organizations will be added to your Registry membership account, generally within one week of completion via a secure data transfer/import process (following verification by The Nevada Registry).
How it Works
In order for completion data to be added to your Registry account, there must be a match between your name/email address on file with the Registry and the name/email address on file with the online training organization(s) you complete courses through. When there is a match, the courses are added to your account with the date of completion and appear in your account as completed training. This, coupled with the attendance verification feature in place for in-person/virtual training sessions, makes the information within the ‘Training Documentation’ section of your Online Portal a more accurate and real time record of your completed training and professional development. It also means that because courses have been verified as complete and are now on file in your account, you will not need to upload these training certificates when you renew your membership with The Nevada Registry – they will already be reflected in your account. It is a win/win!
How will I know when an online course has been added to my account?
You will receive an email notification from The Nevada Registry when an online course has been added to your membership account. To verify, visit the ‘Training Documentation’ section of your Online Portal to view a complete record of all Registry-approved training on file. Click on the link in the upper right hand corner of this tab to view/download your ‘Transcript of Approved Training’. Because all the training sessions and/or online courses listed within your account have been verified by Registry staff, this document can serve as official verification of completed training and professional development. Feel free to share this document with your Director, Child Care Licensing surveyor and even with future employers to document your completed professional development.

It should not be assumed that all courses offered by the above-mentioned organizations are approved. Always refer to the Training Calendar to find training and courses to meet your professional development needs. If a training session or online course is on the calendar, you can be sure it is approved by The Nevada Registry. If you do not see a course of interest listed, it may not be approved. When in doubt, contact our office to speak with a Registry staff member who can verify the approval status for you.
