Partners in Employment Reporting (PER)
The Nevada Registry achieved Partners in Employment Reporting (PER) status in 2015 through the National Workforce Registry Alliance (the Alliance) and has maintained that status through the current year by completing bi-annual renewals. PER is a voluntary process; registries can participate to determine their level of “readiness” for participation in data-related projects at the national level to inform policy or support quality initiatives. PER not only looks at what data is collected and the consistency of format, but more importantly, how data is collected with a review of key policies and processes. Likened to the accreditation process childcare program go through to achieve national accreditation through NAEYC, NAFCC, etc., PER involves a rigorous self-study challenging programs to assess their current policies and operational procedures to ensure alignment with best practices for registries as defined by the Alliance. The Nevada Registry is one of only 17 states who have completed the PER process to date, demonstrating a commitment to our own continuous quality improvement.
