The Nevada Registry Job Board Is Getting an Upgrade!

Our enhanced Job Board launched September 14, 2026, with exciting new features designed to make it easier for employers and job seekers to connect! As employers transition to the new platform and resubmit their available positions, you may notice fewer job postings than usual for a short period of time. New positions will be added as employers complete the transition. Be sure to check back often as new ECEC opportunities are added! Thank you for your patience as we make the Job Board an even better resource for Nevada’s Early Childhood community.

As of July 1, 2024, all child care facilities in Washoe County are licensed by the State of Nevada Division of Welfare and Supportive Services Child Care Licensing Program (DWSS CCL). As a result, the information in this post may no longer be valid but is being preserved on the NEWS page for historical purposes. Please refer to the DWSS CCL website for the most current information.

From Lindsey Klaes, Human Services Supervisor, Child Care Licensing

Attention Providers:

We would like to request your assistance with recruiting potential representatives for the Washoe County Child Care Advisory Board, as we currently have a vacancy in the Recipient of Child Care board member position. If you know a parent that may be interested in learning more about child care in Washoe County and participating in the regulatory process, please provide them with this letter. If you don’t have someone specific in mind but are able to post the attached notice, that would also be so appreciated!

Additionally, we anticipate having some Child Care Provider openings on the Board in 2024, so if you are interested in becoming a Provider representative please do not hesitate to reach out for consideration for a future vacancy.
