Child Care Licensing Announces Revised Fingerprinting Form
Posted Sunday, February 19, 2017 by Shelly Nye
Changes apply to small providers with FFN subsidy.
The Nevada Child Care Licensing unit is informing all currently licensed providers that the Consent and Release form for employee background fingerprinting has been revised. These revisions; however, apply only to those providers who care for fewer than 4 children and who receive a “friends, family and neighbors” (FFN) subsidy from Children’s Cabinet (in Northern Nevada) or Urban League (in Southern Nevada). The revised forms can be found under the “Forms – Background” orange header on the Child Care Licensing forms web page. These forms are to be used by all Nevada child care providers effective immediately; however only the FFN providers are required to fill in the information pertaining to subsidy programs. Other than this information, all providers must fill out this form completely or it will be rejected.
