Reviewed/Updated June 2025
The Nevada Registry Advisory Committee (RAC) was established in 2004 to provide guidance, expertise, and recommendations on matters related to Nevada’s professional development system and Training Approval System. The Committee operates in alignment with The Nevada Registry’s Vision, Mission, and Values.
In 2017, the RAC was placed on hiatus as efforts shifted to the Training Approval System Advisory Workgroup, a subset of the RAC focused on the development and refinement of trainer approval criteria. The Committee is now being reconvened to help guide future enhancements to Nevada’s professional development system, including discussions related to Career Ladder pathways, workforce recognition, and other emerging priorities supporting Nevada’s Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) workforce.
