The Child Care Advisory Committee will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at 1:30 pm.
Topics for the meeting include information on new laws passed during the recent session of the Nevada Legislature and updates on changes to staff-to-child ratios. The full agenda is available at the Child Care Advisory Committee's 2017 meetings web page or you can download it here.
The Child Care Advisory Committee (CCAC) provides a way for state regulators to hear from providers on a range of matters that affect Nevada’s child care industry. The CCAC makes recommendations to the Division of Public and Behavioral Health on issues such as educational strategies, revision of regulations, complaint processes, and methods or structures for fines and fees. The CCAC meets quarterly via video conference, with locations in Carson City and Las Vegas, as well as a call-in phone number.
