Tip of the Week: The Importance of Email Addresses
Posted Monday, October 17, 2016 by Shelly Nye
Did you know that email correspondence is the most frequent method used by The Nevada Registry to communicate with members? To ensure that you continue to receive important information and updates from The Nevada Registry, including renewal reminder notices, it is imperative that an accurate email address be on file at all times. To this end, please be sure to complete Section 1 of the Update/Renewal form EACH time you renew, even if your information hasn’t changed. If you leave the email address blank on a renewal, we will assume that you no longer want it on file and it will be removed from your account, regardless of whether it was previously provided. The same is true of the Release of Information authorization in Section 5. If you don’t sign the release EACH time you renew, your account will be updated to remove previous permissions granted causing you to miss out on opportunities to benefit from special promotions, scholarship opportunities, special events or membership prizes. Update your contact information at any time using the Contact Information Update Form.
