The Nevada Registry’s Job Board is getting a new look—and some exciting new features!
In partnership with The Children’s Cabinet and with funding from the Preschool Development Grant, we’re launching a new and improved Job Board designed to make it easier for Nevada’s Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) professionals and employers to connect.
A Better Way to Find and Fill ECEC Jobs
The Nevada Registry Job Board will continue to be a free resource for Nevada-based employers to advertise job openings in the Early Childhood Education and Care field. The new Job Board, however, will make it easier to search for jobs, connect with candidates, and manage the hiring process.
Instead of a simple list of job openings, the new Job Board will offer a more dynamic, mobile-friendly experience with:
- Easy-to-use search filters for location, wage range, experience, and education
- Expanded job visibility, with postings eligible to appear in national job search results through Google for Jobs and Indeed
- A redesigned employer experience that makes posting and managing job openings easier
New Tools for Job Seekers
Active Nevada Registry members will find a new Job Search tab on their Dashboard within the Online Portal. From there, members will have access to tools designed to make finding the right opportunity easier.
Share Your Job Seeker Profile
Members will be able to share their personalized Job Seeker Profile that highlights their professional background in a standardized, easy-to-share format—similar to an online resume.
Your profile will include information already available in your Nevada Registry membership account, including:
- Personal contact information
- Professional experience
- Education
- Certifications
Members will have control over how their profile is shared with employers. A Print to PDF option will also make it easy to download and share your profile when needed.
Save Searches and Get Job Alerts
You won’t have to keep checking the Job Board to find new opportunities.
Logged-in members will be able to:
- Save their job search criteria
- Receive notifications when new jobs matching their interests are posted
- Be notified if a job they expressed interest in is no longer available
These features make it easier to stay up to date on opportunities that match your experience, education, and preferences.
Express Interest in a Job
Found a position that interests you? The new Job Board will make it easier to let the employer know.
Members will be able to express interest directly through the Job Board and share their Job Seeker Profile with the employer (if appliable*). This provides employers with a convenient way to learn more about interested candidates while giving members another way to showcase their qualifications.
*Employers have the option to allow active members to share their information.
New Tools for Employers
Employers will also have an easier way to manage candidates who express interest in their job postings.
Employers will be able to quickly review interested candidates and access their Job Seeker Profiles, including information about their experience, education, and certifications.
They’ll also be able to:
- Organize candidates using statuses such as ‘Active’, ‘Contacted’, ‘Not Interested’
- Keep candidate information organized in one convenient location
- Send automatic email updates to notify candidates if a job they expressed interest in is marked ‘filled’ or ‘removed’.
The goal is to make the process easier for employers while helping candidates stay informed.
