The Nevada Registry Job Board Is Getting an Upgrade!

Our enhanced Job Board launches September 14, 2026, with exciting new features designed to make it easier for employers and job seekers to connect! As employers transition to the new platform and resubmit their available positions, you may notice fewer job postings than usual for a short period of time. New positions will be added as employers complete the transition. Be sure to check back often as new ECEC opportunities are added! Thank you for your patience as we make the Job Board an even better resource for Nevada’s ECEC community.

Prevention of Shaken Baby Syndrome (SBS) and Abusive Head Trauma is now available online, free of charge! This cost-saving opportunity is made possible by the University of Nevada Reno – Extension Office. Now you can complete this high-demand, low supply training any time of day, from any place you have an internet connection.

Vetted by Child Care Licensing, the Washoe County Health Department and the Washoe County Medical Unit, this training can be taken to meet the initial training requirement for Shaken Baby Syndrome. The course is FREE and is approved by The Nevada Registry for one child care training hour.
