The University of Nevada Reno – Extension office has launched another FREE online training titled, ‘Medication Administration and the Prevention of and Response to Food and Other Allergies in the Child Care Environment‘. This free online course is designed to provide you with information to help you safely administer medication to children in your child care program. The course is approved by The Nevada Registry for two child care training hours and satisfies the Child Care Licensing regulations for Medication Administration.
Follow the instructions to access online training:
1. Go to campus.extension.org
2. Create an account, wait for a confirmation email (if new user).
3. Log in with your username and password.
4. In the search box type “Workforce Training” to view the list of courses offered.
NOTE: When setting up a UNR-Extension training account, you are asked to enter your Nevada Registry ID number in the “ID Number” field of your account profile. If you do not yet have a Registry ID number, enter 0000 (four zeros) . Doing so will allow you to retrieve the certificate of completion for this course.
