The Nevada Department of Education is in the early development stages of designing a Nevada Ready! State Pre-Kindergarten in Family Child Care Pilot program, scheduled to launch around August 2024. Voices from the field are essential to our pilot design in both planning and implementation as part of our state’s Preschool Development Grant Birth-Five work.

You are invited to consider becoming part of the State Pre-K in Family Child Care Pilot Steering Committee. Anyone who supports family child care may sign-up, including parents, providers, coaches, community partner organizations or state program representatives. If this is not the right opportunity for you, please consider sharing it with a friend or colleague and help spread the word.

Please view the linked announcement for more details.
