Have you heard about the Telehealth Services Benefit Program available to Registry members?

Receive access to unlimited telemedicine calls and up to 10 teletherapy sessions, per year, per family, for up to two years for FREE! Individuals must be active members of The Nevada Registry and currently employed in a child care setting or other early childhood-related program in Nevada to enroll. Log into your Online Portal account and click on the 'Membership Account' tab on your dashboard. If you are employed in ECE, you will see a new tab titled, ‘Telehealth Services Benefit Program' under your 'Training Documentation' tab. Open that tab and scroll down to the bottom to begin the enrollment process.

Learn More About the Telehealth Program

The University of Nevada Reno – Extension office has launched another FREE online training titled, Transportation and Field Trip Safety in the Early Childhood Environment.  This free online course presents recommended practices and policies for the safe transport of young children to and from childcare programs.  Training is approved by The Nevada Registry for one child care training hour.

Follow the instructions to access online training:
1. Go to campus.extension.org
2. Create an account, wait for a confirmation email (if new user).
3. Log in with your username and password.
4. In the search box type “Workforce Training” to view the list of courses offered.

NOTE: When setting up a UNR-Extension training account, you are asked to enter your Nevada Registry ID number in the “ID Number” field of your account profile. If you do not yet have a Registry ID number, enter 0000 (four zeros) . Doing so will allow you to retrieve the certificate of completion for this course.
