2018 KIDS COUNT Data Book Release
Posted Monday, June 25, 2018 by Shelly Nye
On Wednesday, June 27th, the Children's Advocacy Alliance will host the release of the Annie E. Casey Foundation's 2018 KIDS COUNT® Data Book, its annual look at child well-being in the United States.
The annual KIDS COUNT® Data Book uses 16 indicators to rank each state across four domains ─ economic well-being, education, family and community and health ─ as an assessment of child well-being. This year's Data Book seeks to raise awareness on the troubling consequences for the nation’s kids with the likely undercount of about 1 million children under the age of five in the 2020 census.
Join the Children's Advocacy Alliance as they discuss Nevada's ranking and what an undercount of young children would mean for Nevada's families.
