This month in honor of our yearlong 15th anniversary celebration, we recognize Margaret Oberg, a Licensed Family Child Care Provider who has cared for and educated children in her home for more than 30 years. She is another one of our Registry VIPs who maintained an active membership with The Nevada Registry since the beginning. Not long before her recent retirement, Margaret had this to say about how The Nevada Registry has positively influenced Early Childhood in Nevada and what her membership personally meant to her:
I am proud to be one of those providers who has been with the Registry since the beginning. I have always been able to count on the Registry to provide a record of my annual training hours and content, which has helped in planning and setting goals for further education. It has been very helpful to know that training approved by the Registry has met the standards of quality and core knowledge requirements. The online training calendar has been a very useful resource for me too. As a trainer, I always appreciated the clear and easy to follow procedures for having a class approved, with Registry staff always willing to help. Thank you for 15 years of wonderful service.
Thank you Margaret for your support over the years and for your commitment to the Early Childhood field. The contributions you made to support the professional development of your colleagues as well as the impact you have made in the lives of hundreds of young children over the past 30 years will be felt for decades!
