If any reportable communicable disease is found to be present in a child care facility, the Director is required to report this to Child Care Licensing as soon as possible. The link to report to Child Care Licensing and submit online can be found here.

The Office of Public Health Investigation and Epidemiology (OPHIE) and the local health authority should also be notified.  During this time, COVID-19 is considered a reportable communicable disease.

You can find more information on the definition of a communicable disease here and what diseases, including COVID-19, are required to be reported here.
