The Nevada Registry Job Board Is Getting an Upgrade!

Our enhanced Job Board launched September 14, 2026, with exciting new features designed to make it easier for employers and job seekers to connect! As employers transition to the new platform and resubmit their available positions, you may notice fewer job postings than usual for a short period of time. New positions will be added as employers complete the transition. Be sure to check back often as new ECEC opportunities are added! Thank you for your patience as we make the Job Board an even better resource for Nevada’s Early Childhood community.

State health officials offer clinical considerations in light of new CDC recommendation.

On November 2, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommended use of the Pfizer-BioNTech 10mcg COVID-19 vaccine in children ages 5-11 years in the United States. This comes after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) expanded its Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for the Pfizer-BioNTech 10mcg COVID-19 vaccine to include this age group on Oct. 29, 2021. Previously the Pfizer vaccine was authorized for those ages 12 years and older in a higher dosage.

The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services has issued a technical bulletin that addresses clinical considerations such as dosages; side effects; packaging, storage and handling of the vaccine; and co-administration with other childhood vaccines. Visit the Division of Public and Behavioral Health website to read the technical bulletin.
