Child Care Licensing
Effective July 1, 2024, Washoe County Child Care Licensing was absorbed by the State of Nevada Division of Welfare and Supportive Services Child Care Licensing Program (DWSS CCL). All licensed child care facilities are now regulated by State Child Care Licensing. This transition ensures a unified and consistent approach to child care licensing across Nevada, enhancing the quality and safety of child care services for families and providers alike and optimizes resources and support networks.
