The Nevada Registry Job Board Is Getting an Upgrade!

Our enhanced Job Board launched September 14, 2026, with exciting new features designed to make it easier for employers and job seekers to connect! As employers transition to the new platform and resubmit their available positions, you may notice fewer job postings than usual for a short period of time. New positions will be added as employers complete the transition. Be sure to check back often as new ECEC opportunities are added! Thank you for your patience as we make the Job Board an even better resource for Nevada’s Early Childhood community.

Reviewed/Updated October 2024

When an individual joins The Nevada Registry, a confidential Career Development File is created on their behalf. This is an electronic record containing all the data collected from the Membership Application, Renewal and scanned images of all support documentation submitted.

Each file contains some, or all, of the information listed below (the Career Ladder level assigned is dependent on the type of documentation submitted with each application and renewal):

  • Unique Registry ID number.
  • Information from the initial application (address, etc.).
  • A record of the individual’s current and previous employment.
  • Copies of training certificates* (provided by the member) documenting the completion of initial training requirements required by Child Care Licensing such as Signs and Symptoms of Illness, CPR, etc. (applies to anyone working in a licensed childcare setting).
  • Copies of training certificates* (provided by the member) documenting completion of informal, non- college training sessions attended (i.e., the training required by Child Care Licensing on an annual basis). The Nevada Registry verifies and saves formal education and training as far back as possible. Members are encouraged to submit all the training certificates they have accumulated throughout their entire career to warehouse information, while at the same time, create the most complete record of an individual’s unique professional and educational background.
  • Copies of professional contributions (optional).
  • Copies of formal education records (high school diploma/GED, college and university course transcripts and/or degrees earned).
  • Copies of any ECE licenses, teaching certificates or endorsements received.
  • Copies of any other miscellaneous documentation provided at time of application (resumes, letters of recommendation, etc.).
  • Copies of all documentation provided because of Career Ladder placement (Certificate of Achievement, welcome letter, training transcript, etc.). Applies to applications processed prior to May 2019. Documents available in digital format only as of May 2019 from within the Online Portal.
  • Current level held on the Nevada Early Care and Education Professional Career Ladder.

*As of March 2020, trainers are required to submit digital attendance records to The Nevada Registry which are added to members’ accounts once verified. Though this training will appear on the individual’s ‘Training Transcript’, the Registry will only have a copy of the training certificate if the member uploads it during their annual renewal.
