Child Care Lounge became part of brightwheel last year. Over time, they’ve brought professional development into the brightwheel platform so courses, certificates, and records can live in one place. As part of that transition, the standalone Child Care Lounge platform will no longer be offering courses.
What this means for you:
Because brightwheel is IACET-accredited, courses previously approved under the Child Care Lounge name will remain approved by The Nevada Registry; just under the brightwheel name. Any certificates you earned through Child Care Lounge will remain valid in Nevada and will remain on your Nevada Registry Professional Development Profile/Transcript.
Professional development will continue through brightwheel, and courses will no longer be offered through the Child Care Lounge platform.
If you’ve already purchased courses, you will receive an email with your specific completion deadline. For most customers, this deadline is April 30. Please complete your coursework before that date. After your deadline, access to the Child Care Lounge platform will no longer be available. If you are unsure of your deadline, you may contact them at customerservice@childcarelounge.com.
