The Nevada Department of Education’s Office of Early Learning and Development (OELD) is pleased to announce the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Early Childhood Literacy & Readiness Programs Grant.
Established by Senate Bill (SB) 460, this grant is designed to establish innovative new programs or expand existing early literacy programs. These programs must support children less than six years old, their families, and early childhood professionals.
Eligible applicants include:
- School Districts
- Sponsors of Charter Schools
- Institutions Within The Nevada System Of Higher Education (NSHE)
- Non-Profit Organizations
Grant Highlights
- Total Funds Available: $13,646,507 for Fiscal Year 2027
- Funding Period: July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027
