Nominations are now open for the 2026 Early Childhood Educator of the Year Award! (Nevada Department of Education).
Know an outstanding early childhood educator? Help recognize their impact.
This includes lead teachers serving infants, toddlers, and pre-K students across early learning settings, including child care, family child care, Head Start, public and private schools, and more.
Early nominees are encouraged and self-nominations are welcome. Nominees are notified as nominations are received and invited to apply.
TIMELINE:
April 27, 2026:
- Last day to nominate for the 2025-26 school year.
May 10, 2026:
- Last day for nominees to submit applications.
