Governor Steve Sisolak recently joined local child care providers and community partners to celebrate the opening of a new one-stop shop facility for child care providers. The Nevada Strong Start Child Care Services Center (CCSC) brings together partner organizations from both the public and private sectors to create systems that are aligned, coordinated and centered on meeting the needs of child care providers and families. The Reno location is the second CCSC facility to open in the Silver state, the first one opened in Las Vegas in February of this year, through the work of The Children’s Cabinet, and funded by various grants.
