Family Engagement Definition Survey

Last year the Nevada Department of Education partnered with the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO), the National Association for Family, School, and Community Engagement (NAFSCE), the Mid-Atlantic Equity Consortium, Inc. (MAEC), the Campaign for Grade Level Reading (GLR), and 12 other states to form a State Consortium on Family Engagement. Two main goals of the State Consortium are for each state to develop its own birth through grade 12 family engagement framework and create a common statewide definition for family engagement.
The past few months a group of internal and external stakeholders have been working together to draft a family engagement definition by taking into account stakeholder feedback and existing family engagement definitions.
Please take the follow survey. Their goal is to get as many people to take the survey to provide their feedback/input. They also want to hear from parents, families, and students.
