The Nevada Registry’s much anticipated FY19 Membership and Training Approval System Report is now available! The eighth in a series of reports that have been published since 2010, this 15th Anniversary special edition represents membership and training data from July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2019 and commemorates a period of time that has been the most instrumental and transformative in The Nevada Registry’s development as a program thus far.
As you explore the pages of this report, we invite you to think about the power of the data that is contained within and how this information can be used to support data-informed decisions; from structuring your salary scales, to gaining a better understanding of who represents the ECE workforce, to advocating for change. Most importantly, please consider the role that mandatory participation with The Nevada Registry plays in our state’s ability to collect comprehensive data about the ECE workforce in Nevada. We are grateful to reside in a state that had the forward-thinking vision many years ago to recognize the value and importance of adopting participation into State Child Care Licensing regulations - long before it became the national norm. As many registry systems continue to work toward mandatory participation in their states, Nevada can take pride in being one of the first states that recognized the need and made it happen.
Thank you for allowing us the privilege of serving the Early Childhood community in Nevada for the past fifteen years. Together we have seen exciting growth in the size of the membership as well as in the expansion of services available to support members and trainers alike. As we begin the next chapter and complete our transition to an entirely paperless system, we remain committed to serving as a comprehensive data repository for the field of ECE in Nevada and look forward to supporting ECE educators for many years to come.
